Dear Polly,
An agent has recently requested my full manuscript. Do I need to submit a copy of her request along with the manuscript?I haven\’t done so. Also, I have not received any confirmation of receipt yet.When should I follow up? I submitted within five hours of the request. Is that fine? Thanking you, Sreyoshi Chatterjee.

I’m replying for Polly as she’s away at the Bologna Book Fair.
If you’re asked to send a full manuscript, you should just send on a “reply” email to the agent’s request. As to what to expect as confirmation of receipt – you can really only ask the requesting agent. Sadly, another agent isn’t going to be able to help you!
