Question & AnswersCategory: GeneralImpersonation of a writer?
Scott asked 5 years ago

I was in a discussion with a girl, she stated that she is currently writing a book. I’m questioning because her written communication does not support much capability.I inquired about details of the book. Her response “ Book genre is drama/fiction/poetry.. while using rhetoric figurative language and figurative soliloquy.“ Does that makes sense? English Lit never was my strong point and it seems she just listed devices.

Hi Scott, She stated she is currently writing a book, so she is definitely a writer. She’s not impersonating anything. No matter how she describes her work, all you need to say is: “That’s wonderful! Good luck with your writing. I’ll be cheering for your success.” Hope that makes sense. Best wishes, Chelsea
